Press kit & media inquiries — WashMe

A reference page for journalists, editors, bloggers, and partners researching WashMe — the premium pickup-and-delivery laundry service for Marbella and the wider Costa del Sol. On this page: company facts, founder bio, story angles, quotable figures, brand assets, and a direct press contact.

About WashMe

WashMe is a premium pickup-and-delivery laundry service operating across 27 neighborhoods on the Costa del Sol, from the Golden Mile and Puerto Banús through Marbella East, Mijas, Fuengirola, Estepona and beyond. The service covers wash & fold for households, full Airbnb and short-let turnovers, hotel and villa contracts, dry cleaning, and specialist carpet and rug cleaning. WashMe is English-run with a fully bilingual English-Spanish team, and processes every order in its own commercial-grade laundry facility — not a re-routed domestic load. Free pickup and delivery are included as standard, with hotel-grade washing temperatures and commercial machinery on every job.

Founder — Adam

Adam is the founder and operator of WashMe. He runs day-to-day operations directly, drives several of the pickup routes himself, and owns the commercial-grade laundry facility behind the service — WashMe is not a middle-man brand re-selling third-party capacity. The business is a small, focused team rather than a franchise: same operator, same machines, same quality on every job. Adam is a bilingual English-Spanish operator and is the direct point of contact for press, partners, and large-portfolio clients. Journalists working on stories about Marbella’s hospitality economy, expat-run small business, or operational logistics on the Costa del Sol can reach him directly using the press contact details at the bottom of this page.

Story angles for journalists

Evergreen angles where WashMe can speak as a primary source — with operational data, customer patterns, and on-the-record commentary from the founder.

1. The growing market for premium concierge-style services on the Costa del Sol

Expat homeowners on the Costa del Sol increasingly outsource the operational side of running a second home — laundry, gardening, pool, security checks. WashMe sits in the middle of that shift and can speak to demand patterns, seasonality, and what clients are actually willing to pay for.

2. How Marbella’s top villas handle linen care — what guests actually notice

The textile-quality gap between a five-star hotel stay and a luxury villa rental is the single most-cited complaint guests raise on review platforms. We can comment on what villa operators are getting right, what they get wrong, and which textiles forgive abuse.

3. Airbnb linen costs in Marbella 2026 — own or rent?

Per-changeover linen rental versus owned-stock economics, including replacement frequency, theft and stain write-offs, and operational labour. Backed by data from our own portfolio. See our public Airbnb linen calculator for the underlying model.

4. Behind the scenes: hotel-grade laundry operations on the Costa del Sol

What happens between a 5kg pickup bag and a folded delivery: routing, sorting, temperature regimes, finishing, quality control. Photography and a site visit can be arranged for features.

5. The English-run small businesses serving Marbella’s expat economy

A wave of operationally-minded English-Spanish bilingual operators has built service businesses around the expat homeowner. WashMe is one of them and can comment on the trend, hiring, and what makes the market different from London or Dubai.

6. Sustainability: water and energy at commercial scale vs domestic washing

Litres-per-kilo and kWh-per-kilo on commercial machinery compared to a typical 7kg domestic load. The numbers favour consolidated commercial laundry by a meaningful margin — we can supply our own measured figures for context.
