The end of the line: how our route works Torremolinos

Every eastern run we drive finishes in Torremolinos. The van comes up the A-7 from Mijas, takes Montemar and La Carihuela first, then the centre, El Calvario and finally the Playamar towers before turning for home. Because the town anchors the far end of our 27-neighbourhood coverage, stops keep the same order day after day — a daytime delivery pass plus the standard 19:00–21:00 evening collection window, Monday to Saturday — and regulars soon know their slot to within twenty minutes.

Geography does the rest. The centre sits on a cliff with Playa del Bajondillo directly below, and the frontline blocks down there are reached on foot: the driver parks in the upper town, takes the lift or the Cuesta del Tajo steps, and meets you at the portal. La Carihuela's seafront lanes work the same way, a short walk in from a parallel street. Playamar is easy driving, but its near-identical towers all face the beach at the same angle — put the block number in the booking, not just the apartment.

No area on our routes carries more holiday lets per street, so most collections here are guest changeovers. A key-safe code or the cleaner's phone number is all we need; linens wash at 60°C in their own machine and come back inside the standard 24–48 hours. Operators juggling several flats tend to move onto wholesale terms, €3.75–5.75 per kilo by monthly volume.
