Three Benalmádenas, one collection route

Benalmádena stacks three different towns on one hillside, and we plan the route accordingly. At sea level: the Costa strip and Puerto Marina. Halfway up: Arroyo de la Miel, the working centre around the train station, where most of our year-round clients live. At the top: Benalmádena Pueblo, whitewashed and short on parking, where the driver often leaves the van by the main road and walks the last lanes on foot.

Puerto Marina has its own quirk: the apartment "islands" built out over the water are reached by footbridge only — no vehicles. We park by the marina entrance and walk in, so allow the driver an extra five minutes and put the block name, not just the apartment number, in your booking; the islands repeat their numbering. Liveaboard owners on the pontoons hand their bags over at the mooring gate.

West of the centre, the Torrequebrada stretch is mostly residential complexes above the coast road, and reception handovers work there as they do everywhere else. Two practical notes for the whole municipality: Arroyo commuters on the Cercanías into Málaga lean hard on the 19:00–21:00 evening window, and anything confirmed before 9:00 can come back the same day if a checkout or an event catches you short of sheets.
